Terms of service

• You need to be at least 16 to use Maggpie.
• Give us an email address you can receive mail at. We use it to confirm it's you when you sign up, sign in on a new browser, or reset your password.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account, and an account is for one person.

You keep whatever rights you have in what you save. To run Maggpie, you give us permission to store it, make previews of it (thumbnails, colors, and fonts), and show it to you. When you make a collection public, you also give us permission to show its saves to anyone with its link and to people browsing Explore, and you let people signed in to Maggpie save copies of them to their own libraries. Those copies stay in their libraries even if you later make the collection private or delete the original. We don't use what you save for anything else.

Much of what people collect is someone else's work: websites, images, videos, and type. Maggpie is for keeping references for yourself and sharing them as inspiration. Only make public what you have the right to share, and credit the source (Maggpie keeps the link to it with every save).

If you believe something on Maggpie infringes your copyright, contact us at the developer email listed on Maggpie's Chrome Web Store page with a link to it and what you own. We'll remove material that infringes, and we close the accounts of people who do it repeatedly.

• Break the law, or help anyone else do it, with Maggpie.
• Save or share content that sexualizes minors, promotes violence or hatred, harasses people, or exposes someone's private information.
• Upload malware, or use Maggpie to send spam.
• Get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or get around our security, rate limits, or other limits.
• Scrape Maggpie or overload it with automated requests, or copy its public pages at scale.

Maggpie is new and still changing. Features may change or go away, things may break, and we may set limits, for example on storage. We work to keep your library safe and available, but we can't promise that Maggpie will always work or that nothing will ever be lost, so keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

Maggpie is free while it's in beta. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance, and nothing you've saved will be charged for without your say.

You can stop using Maggpie at any time and delete your account from Account → Danger zone, which deletes your library. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or Maggpie at risk. When it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it or take your saves with you.

Maggpie is provided as it is and as it's available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what's written here, including that it will fit a particular purpose or work without interruption.

To the extent the law allows, Maggpie isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, that come from using Maggpie or not being able to. Our total liability for any claim about Maggpie is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Maggpie after that, the new terms apply.
